How it Works
For metamaps with court record lookups, the lookup is available only if a user has been verified by all other merits in the metamap and has provided enough information to initiate a lookup.
If the user has been verified for all other merits and we have obtained enough information, the court record lookup will execute automatically.
Manually initiate a court record lookup
If a user has failed a check, been rejected, or requires review, the court record lookup will not be available unless you have manually changed their status to "verified."
After you have manually verified a user's status, you can initiate a court record lookup.

Dashboard screen showing a user's background check is available. The "Request Background Check" button is to the left of center.
Otherwise, you will be notified that the court record lookup step is not available.

Dashboard screen showing a user's court record lookup is unavailable. The "Request Background Check" button is disabled.
Court Records Results
When we have obtained the completed court records, the Dashboard screen will refresh to show:
- A summary indicating that the user is:
- Approved
- Low risk (Available for BR only)
- High risk
- User data
- A list of searches run against the user. Each search result will have one of three statuses:
- Approved
- Low risk (Available for BR only)
- High risk

Court Records: Approved. All 60 checks returned show that the user is approved.

Court Records: High risk. 2 of 60 checks returned show that the user is high risk.
